We offer many different ways to make payments. Explore the options below to help you find the best and most convenient way for you to pay your bill.

    • Log into My Account portal to:
      • Make a one-time payment using your bank account. This service is free of charge.
      • Make a one-time credit card payment for a $1.75 fee. NY Liberty now accepts AMEX.
      • Schedule automatic payments to avoid late fees.

    Note: On October 28, our current My Account (My Water) portal will be retired as we transition to a new My Account experience scheduled to be released on November 7. During the time, customers who wish to pay their bill online will need to utilize the One Time payment option below.

  • Pay with credit card:

    For security purposes, our customer service representatives are not able to take payments over the phone. Customers wishing to pay over the phone using a credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Discover & American Express) or debit card can call us 1-877-426-6999 TDD: 711 and select the option to make a payment. You will be redirected to our secure payment line. Please note there is a $1.75 processing fee charged by our vendor. We do not profit from this fee.

  • Liberty has agreements with several authorized payment locations across the state.

    NOTE: Third party payment centers such as Walmart will not be accepting payments from October 26 through November 7 due to our system upgrade. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding.

     

    • Authorized Payment Agents

      Click the button below for a complete list of authorized payment locations near you. Please only use authorized payment agents. Paying using other services may result in delays in posting your payments. There is no fee for this service*.

      *Important: To locate authorized payment locations that do not charge a convenience fee, within the  Biller Search box you must input Liberty Utilities and select your State from the dropdown menu.

Things to keep in mind: 

Pay Through a Third Party

  • If someone handles paying your bills, such as a relative, trustee or social service organization, we can send a copy of your bill, as well as a reminder, past-due and shut-off notices, to that third party. To add a third-party, visit My Account portal or contact our customer service center at 1-877-426-6999, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m

Payment Arrangements

  • Sometimes customers face circumstances that stretch their financial resources. If you cannot pay your bill by the due date, please contact our Customer Service Center immediately, BEFORE the due date at 1-877-426-6999 TDD: 711.

    NOTE: Mt. Ebo wastewater customers should call 1-845-878-0007; Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.

    When you call, our customer service representatives will work with you on a plan to pay the balance of the bill over time. These payment arrangements require you to:
    • Pay at least 20 percent of your bill.
    • Pay the rest of the bill, including any applicable late payment charge according to an agreed upon schedule, not to exceed twelve months.
    • Pay all future bills as they become due.
      Liberty will create these payment arrangements only with customers who have not broken a similar agreement with us in the past twelve months.
