A smart controller is a great way to keep your lawn looking lush while conserving water. The controllers offer a variety of scheduling options, allowing you to water the right amount for the specific needs of your plants. They also monitor your local weather forecast and let Mother Nature do the watering whenever possible, avoiding unnecessary watering. 

All Rain barrels and drip irrigation kits are eligible.

Smart irrigation controllers and nozzles must be WaterSense labelled. You can check to see if your product qualifies here.

Complete the application below and submit a copy of dated sales receipt/paid invoice showing manufacturer, model number, installation date, and purchase price. 

Mail in the application and a copy of dated sales receipt/paid invoice to:

Incentive Application

Please allow 4-6 weeks for rebate processing from time of submission. You will receive your rebate via check in the mail. 

• Must be a Liberty NY Water customer
• Must provide a copy of dated sales receipt/paid invoice showing manufacturer, model number, installation date, and purchase price
• Customers are limited to the below number of rebates per rate year, April 1, 2024– April 30, 2025 
  • (1) smart irrigation controller
  • (2) drip irrigation kits
  • (50) rotating sprinkler heads
  • (1) rain barrel 
• Product must have been purchased on or after April 1, 2024 
• Smart Irrigation Controllers, and Rotating Sprinkler Heads must be WaterSense labeled
• All rebate submissions are subject to post inspection 
• Technology must be installed at address of account serviced
