Glen Head Well
New York State recently established new drinking water standards for emerging compounds, specifically 1,4-Dioxane, PFOA and PFOS. In preparation for the new standards, Liberty proactively sampled all of our source water wells. Testing of the Glen Head Well produced sample results for PFOS above the State's new standards.
Liberty is pursuing granular activated carbon filtration treatment for this system. While new treatment will take time to fully install, Liberty's proactive approach has significantly reduced the time needed to install the right treatment system for our customer
